So Double Rainbouu, you've heard of it right? Well if you haven’t yet, you’re about to.
We’ve seen the popular uprise of the modern Hawaiian Shirt that screams drinks by the pool or that ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas’ vibe.
Double Rainbouu are the pioneers of this new lifestyle. Created by Toby Jones and Mikey Nolan (formerly the creative directors of Ksubi) just two years ago, they're tackling the Aussie fashion challenge that is casual beach wear. Making surf wear fashion.
In their own words ‘Because the beach in Australia is such a huge aspect of everyone’s lives, it doesn’t just mean one thing. There’s the city beach. Then you’ve got the small-town beaches, deserted beaches, and crappy suburban beaches.’
They offer a range of lifestyle alternative resort wear ranging from t-shirts, sweats, swim, and the infamous Hawaiian Shirt that have been a favourite among the likes of Jared Leto, Justin Bieber, and Pip Edwards.
With their original graphic prints designed in house and inspired by the Australian landscape, that reflect a life spent by the beach, Double Rainbouu have been a clear favourite of Lonelie and our following. We have seen our growth along side that of Double Rainbouu's since opening our doors with them as on of our first designers.
"We come from a small a tight-knit industry here and our purpose should be to support each other and encourage emerging talent. We look forward to doing that and we really do love to support and encourage the next generation of Aussie creatives," said Nolan, before adding, "otherwise we'll be just a bit bored!"
